New Rochelle Police Crack Down on Unregistered Vehicles

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — A routine traffic stop led to the discovery of two unregistered vehicles at the same location, according to the New Rochelle Police Department. Officers initially pulled over a vehicle for driving the wrong way on a one-way street and found that it was unregistered. While addressing the situation, officers also spotted a second unregistered vehicle parked nearby, obstructing a sidewalk.

The department noted that recent enforcement efforts have led to a decrease in the number of unregistered vehicles on the road. “We do and will continue to enforce those who do not comply,” the New Rochelle Police Department stated.

The crackdown on unregistered vehicles is part of a broader effort by local law enforcement to ensure compliance with traffic regulations and maintain public safety.
