Three Arrested After Carjacked Vehicle Crashes in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — Three individuals were arrested on Friday afternoon following a carjacking incident in Baltimore’s Southeast District, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

At approximately 2:23 p.m. on August 16, detectives observed a vehicle reported as carjacked in the area of Milton and Ashland Avenue. Officers began canvassing the area and soon received a report of the vehicle crashing into a pole in the 3100 block of East Baltimore Street.

The vehicle’s three occupants—identified as a 16-year-old male, a 17-year-old male, and an 18-year-old male—attempted to flee on foot after the crash. However, they were quickly apprehended by responding officers.

Police recovered three loaded handguns from inside the vehicle. All suspects were transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing.

The investigation is ongoing, and further details regarding the suspects’ identities have not yet been released.
