Two Charged in Fatal Shooting in Pitcairn

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. — Two young men have been charged in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Pitcairn. Allegheny County Police have identified the suspects as 19-year-old Jackiel Young and 18-year-old Lynell Wilson-Smith.

The incident took place on Thursday, resulting in the death of an 18-year-old male who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Following a request for assistance from the Pitcairn Police, the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit responded and launched an investigation.

Young and Wilson-Smith have been charged with multiple offenses, including one count of criminal homicide, robbery, conspiracy, and carrying a firearm without a license. Both suspects are currently being held at the county jail as they await their preliminary arraignment.
