Allegheny County Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting in Homestead

Homestead, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to a shooting incident early this morning in Homestead. At 2:21 a.m., County 9-1-1 received a report of a shooting on the 1100 block of Sylvan Avenue.

First responders arrived to find an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Detectives have initiated an investigation into the incident. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
