DUMFRIES, Va. — A woman has been arrested following a stabbing incident that occurred early Monday morning, August 19, 2024, at a residence in the 3900 block of Hidden Valley Court. The incident, reported at approximately 12:13 a.m., involved a 20-year-old man who was stabbed during an altercation.
According to the investigation, the victim and the suspect, identified as Alivia Marie McClarren, 21, were involved in a verbal dispute that escalated. During the confrontation, McClarren allegedly grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed the victim in the back. The parties then separated, and the victim was later treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
Following the investigation, McClarren was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.
McClarren is currently being held without bond, and her court date is pending. The investigation remains ongoing.
