One Dead, Three Critical in New Jersey Crash

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A three-vehicle collision on Thursday morning at the intersection of Hogback Road, Route 617, and Lower Lansdown Road has left one passenger dead and three others seriously injured. The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m., prompting an immediate response from local authorities.

According to the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office, the deceased victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other passengers who sustained serious injuries were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The identities of the victims have not been released.

The two drivers involved in the crash were treated at the scene and subsequently released, as confirmed by the Franklin Township Police Department. Details regarding the cause of the collision are still under investigation.

Emergency responders from the Franklin Township Police Department, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office, and Quakertown NJ Fire and Rescue were present at the scene. Authorities have not provided further information about the condition of the injured passengers.

The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the crash remains ongoing.
