Alert: Missing Bronx Teenager Sought by NYPD

BRONX, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old boy who has gone missing from his home in the Bronx.

Javin Rodriguez, who resides at 1935 Blackrock Avenue, was last seen on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at approximately 1:40 p.m., according to police reports. Rodriguez, a White Hispanic male, was last seen leaving his residence within the confines of the 43rd Precinct.

Rodriguez is described as having a light complexion, standing approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, and weighing around 115 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black shirt with gold lettering, black shorts, and red and black Jordan sneakers.

Authorities urge anyone with information on Javin Rodriguez’s whereabouts to contact the NYPD immediately.
