Gunfire Rings Out in the Bronx, Police Searching for Suspect Caught on Camera

Manhattan, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a man involved in a reckless endangerment incident in the Bronx. According to police, the individual discharged a firearm multiple times on Monday morning near West 184 Street and Jerome Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:22 a.m. when the unidentified man opened fire before fleeing the scene in a vehicle traveling southbound on Jerome Avenue. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with the gunfire.

Authorities describe the suspect as an adult male with a medium build and dark complexion. He was last observed wearing a white T-shirt, red sweatpants, and white sneakers.

The NYPD has released images of the individual and is urging anyone with information on his identity or whereabouts to come forward.

“This is an ongoing investigation, and we are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this individual,” the New York City Police Department said in a statement.
