NYPD Investigating Anti-Semitic Graffiti in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is investigating a hate crime after anti-Semitic images were graffitied along Jamaica Avenue in Queens early Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:01 a.m. on August 14, 2024, in the vicinity of 91st Street and Jamaica Avenue. An unidentified male suspect defaced multiple locations with anti-Semitic graffiti before fleeing the area to an unknown location, according to police reports.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is leading the investigation as authorities work to identify and apprehend the individual responsible.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the NYPD. The investigation is ongoing.
