Shooting in Baltimore Sends Man to Hospital

BALTIMORE, MD — A 34-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot in the right thigh on Wednesday evening in Baltimore’s Western District.

The incident occurred around 7:38 p.m. in the 900 block of Myrtle Avenue. The victim sought treatment at a local hospital, where Central District patrol officers responded and initiated an investigation. Western District Shooting detectives have taken over the case and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
