NYPD Seeks Public’s Help in Identifying Suspects in Bronx Robbery

NEW YORK, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying and locating several individuals involved in a robbery that occurred in the Bronx within the confines of the 42nd Precinct. The incident took place on Monday, August 26, 2024, at approximately 5:17 p.m. in the vicinity of East 170th Street and Webster Avenue.

According to the police, two 16-year-old male victims had arranged to sell clothing to an individual at the location. Upon arrival, they were approached by six unknown individuals who physically assaulted them and forcibly took their belongings. The stolen items included a wallet, a tennis racket, a book bag, a denim hoodie, sneakers, and $500 in cash.

Following the assault, the suspects fled in an unknown direction. The victims were transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Saint Barnabas Hospital, where they were treated for their injuries.

The NYPD is urging anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspects to contact authorities.
