Armed Robbery at Brooklyn Convenience Store Under Investigation

BROOKLYN, Md. — Police are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred late Thursday night at a Brooklyn convenience store. The incident took place at approximately 11:05 p.m. on August 31 at Daddy Pa’s, located at 4114 Belle Grove Road.

According to authorities, a male suspect entered the store, jumped the counter, and implied he was armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded cash, and the store clerk complied. In addition to the cash, the suspect took tobacco products and other merchandise before fleeing the scene.

Despite a search of the surrounding area, officers were unable to locate the suspect, described as a 19- to 20-year-old Black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The Regional Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.
