Frederick police arrest man after weapons incident on West Patrick Street

FREDERICK, Md. — Frederick Police officers arrested a man on the evening of September 1 after responding to a weapons complaint on West Patrick Street.

The suspect, identified as Joshua Wayne Rippeon, allegedly brandished an AR-15 style rifle during an altercation. Rippeon is now facing several serious charges, according to the Frederick Police Department.
