Man stabbed on Tasker Street overnight

PHILADELPHIA — A 32-year-old man is in critical condition after being stabbed early Tuesday morning in the city’s 17th District.

The stabbing occurred at around 2:11 a.m. on the 1600 block of Tasker Street, police said. The victim, identified as a Black male, suffered stab wounds to his stomach and left arm.

The man was initially transported to Methodist Hospital by a private vehicle. He was later transferred to Jefferson Center City Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Authorities are continuing to investigate, but no weapon has been recovered at this time.

Details surrounding the stabbing are still under investigation.
