Workers at New Jersey Recycling Facility Find Man’s Body on Conveyor Belt

FARMINGDALE, N.J. — A man’s body was discovered on a conveyor belt at a recycling facility in Farmingdale on Wednesday, according to New Jersey State Police.

The body was found at the Republic Services recycling center as staff were sorting materials. Police were called to the facility at 2:42 p.m., prompting an investigation into the incident.

Authorities have not yet identified the man, and it is unclear whether foul play is suspected. The investigation is ongoing, and further details have not been released.

The Republic Services facility, located on Railroad Avenue, was cordoned off as a medical examiner and several New Jersey State Police detectives processed the scene.
