Female Brooklyn Credit Card Thief Sought by NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Police are searching for a woman involved in a grand larceny in the 69th Precinct after a wallet was stolen from a vehicle and a credit card was later used at a hotel.

The incident occurred around midnight on Tuesday, August 22, according to law enforcement. A 40-year-old female victim reported leaving her wallet inside her car, which was taken by an unidentified individual.

Authorities said the suspect used one of the victim’s credit cards at a nearby hotel following the theft.

The woman being sought is described as having a slim build and dark complexion. She was last seen wearing a black and white jacket, blue sweatpants, and carrying a backpack.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.
