14-Year-Old Boy Robbed of Shoes and Phone in Brooklyn by Large Gang

BROOKLYN, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery that took place on the evening of September 7, involving a 14-year-old boy who was assaulted and robbed by a group of individuals.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Hammonds Lane at approximately 8:00 p.m. after the victim reported the incident. According to the police, the boy had agreed to a fight with someone he knew. During the altercation, an additional 10 to 15 individuals joined in the assault and stole the teen’s phone and shoes.

The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction before officers arrived. A search of the area was conducted, but no suspects were located.
