CUMBERLAND, Md. — Two individuals were arrested Monday morning after a reported break-in at a residence on N. Centre Street. Officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to the scene around 8:50 a.m. after receiving a complaint of unauthorized entry.

The landlord informed officers that a male and a female had been inside the apartment without permission. Police identified the suspects as Timothy Lee Elder, 35, and Marissa Linnae Tice, 26, both of Cumberland.

Following an investigation, Elder and Tice were arrested and taken to Central Booking for processing. Elder was released after posting a $2,500 unsecured personal bond, while Tice was released on her own recognizance.
