Police investigate shooting of 20-year-old man in Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 20-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot in Southwest Baltimore on Monday afternoon, according to police.

At approximately 2:40 p.m. on September 9, Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the back.

The victim told police that he was shot in the 700 block of North Woodington Road.

Southwestern District Shooting detectives have taken over the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact detectives at 410-396-2488.
