Man shot multiple times, killed in the Bronx overnight

BRONX, N.Y. — A 35-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday night in the Bronx, according to police. Officers responded to a 911 call of a man shot at 6 E. Burnside Avenue at approximately 11:04 p.m., within the 46th Precinct.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, later identified as Juan Lluverez, with gunshot wounds to his abdomen and leg. Emergency medical services transported Lluverez to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing. Police have not released additional details regarding possible suspects or motives.

The victim resided at 13 West 183rd Street in the Bronx.
