NYPD Seeks Public’s Help in Locating Missing 78-Year-Old Woman from Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 78-year-old woman from Queens.

Efigenia Oviedo was last seen leaving her residence on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at approximately 10:00 a.m., according to police. She is described as a Black female with brown eyes and brown hair, standing 5 feet tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. Oviedo was last seen wearing a white hat, gray sweatpants, and a white sweater.

Anyone with information regarding Efigenia Oviedo’s whereabouts is urged to contact the NYPD. The investigation is ongoing.
