Three Juveniles Arrested in Connection with Woodbridge Robbery

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police have arrested three 17-year-old male juveniles in connection with a strong-arm robbery that occurred on August 27 near Matthews Drive and Burns Court in Woodbridge (22191). The suspects, all from Woodbridge, have been charged with robbery and are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center, authorities said.

The incident, which was reported at 3:33 p.m. on August 27, involved a 14-year-old male victim who was assaulted by four individuals shortly after getting off a school bus. According to the investigation, the suspects approached the victim from behind, pushed him to the ground, and took his shoes. They also attempted to steal his hooded sweatshirt before the parties separated. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The investigation led officers to identify three suspects involved in the robbery, with the victim’s stolen shoes being recovered. Police are continuing to investigate the involvement of a fourth individual in the case.

Court dates for the juveniles are pending.
