$1 million Mega Millions second-prize-winning ticket sold in New Windsor

NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. — A second-prize-winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was sold for the September 10 drawing, the New York Lottery announced. The lucky ticket was purchased at the Gulf Express located at 986 Little Britain Road in New Windsor.

Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. To win the second prize, players must match five of the six numbers drawn from a field of one to 70. The Mega Ball is drawn from a separate pool of one to 25.
