Baltimore County Police Investigating Shooting in Towson

TOWSON, Md. — A shooting investigation is underway in Towson after a man was critically injured Friday morning, according to Baltimore County Police.

Officers from the Towson Precinct responded to the 400 block of Dunkirk Road just after 11:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 50-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, authorities said.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition, according to police.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-307-2020.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
