Central Park Attacker Sought by NYPD

NEW YORK, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to identify individuals connected to an assault in Central Park on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

According to police reports, at approximately 6:10 p.m., a 49-year-old man was riding his bicycle near 60 West Drive when he was approached by an unknown individual. The suspect pushed the victim off his bicycle, causing him to sustain abrasions.

The victim declined further medical attention at the scene. The suspect fled the area on foot, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Police are encouraging anyone with information about the individuals depicted in the attached media to contact authorities.
