Two arrested after vehicle chase and shots fired in Nottingham

NOTTINGHAM, Md. — Two suspects were arrested Monday evening following a vehicle bailout and foot pursuit in Nottingham, according to Baltimore County Police.

The incident began at approximately 8:10 p.m. when officers from the Whitemarsh Precinct were alerted to a stolen vehicle that failed to stop for Maryland State Police. After Baltimore County Police located the vehicle, the occupants bailed out, leading to a foot chase.

During the pursuit, one of the suspects fired shots, prompting authorities to issue a shelter-in-place order for the area. The order was later lifted after the suspects were apprehended.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
