Columbus Police Seek Fugitive Wanted for Cleveland Avenue Shooting

COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus Police responded to a shooting on Saturday at around 2:45 p.m. in the 4200 block of Cleveland Avenue. Officers found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead.

Following an investigation, detectives issued a warrant for Deontae D’Quel Daniel on charges of murder. Daniel is noted to have a distinct tattoo on the front of his neck reading “28” in red, with a broken heart design incorporated into both numbers.
