Police seek suspects in Bethlehem Township distraction theft

BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in a distraction theft at a Walmart on Nazareth Pike, according to a social media post from the Bethlehem Township Police Department on Wednesday.

The incident occurred at the Walmart located at 3926 Nazareth Pike. Authorities say a female suspect distracted the victim, while a male suspect stole the victim’s wallet from her purse, which was placed in the top portion of her shopping cart.

The victim’s credit cards were reportedly used at other locations shortly after the theft.

Bethlehem Township Police have asked anyone who may be able to identify the suspects to contact Officer Kohler or call the department’s non-emergency line at 610-759-2200. Callers can remain anonymous.
