NYC Firefighter Arrested for Assault

NEW YORK — An off-duty FDNY firefighter was arrested Thursday evening in the Bronx, the NYPD said.

Peter Clough, 34, was taken into custody at approximately 5:56 p.m. in the 45th Precinct. He has been charged with third-degree assault.

The circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been disclosed, and no further details were immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.
