Stafford County Sheriff Reports Assault, Burglary, and Fraud Incidents

STAFFORD, VA – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office has reported three separate incidents, including an assault, a burglary, and a fraud case, each involving active investigations.

At Colonial Forge High School on Tuesday at 8:21 a.m., Deputy G.M. Lum intervened in a fight at the clinic. Deputy Lum, with assistance from school staff, separated two students. Student one was identified as the primary aggressor and faces a criminal complaint for assault and battery.

At 2:35 a.m. on Tuesday, Deputy J.J. Suh responded to a business alarm at Trek Bicycle located at 2773 Richmond Highway. Upon arrival, he discovered a shattered window and confirmed the theft of a bicycle valued at nearly $1,700.

Deputy J.L. Jones addressed a fraud incident at the Ford T. Humphrey Public Safety Building at 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday. A victim reported receiving a call from someone impersonating Captain E.E. Quinn, demanding payment via gift cards to dismiss alleged drug possession warrants.
