Suspect caught on camera in fatal Northeast D.C. shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities are searching for a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Northeast Washington, D.C., on Sunday morning.

At approximately 8:25 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of 50th Street, Northeast. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim unconscious in an alley, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, later identified as 44-year-old James Price, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect was captured on surveillance footage, which has been made public by the police.
