23-Year-Old Shot Tuesday Night in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — A 23-year-old man is in critical but stable condition after being shot in the left thigh Tuesday evening, police said.

The shooting occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. The victim was transported by police to Einstein Medical Center for treatment. Authorities have not yet recovered any weapons, and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Philadelphia police are urging anyone with information to contact the Shooting Investigations Group at 215-686-8270 or submit anonymous tips to 215-686-TIPS (8477). The investigation is ongoing.
