Five From Ocean COunty Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges

Toms River, NJ – Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer reported that multiple law enforcement agencies collaborated on a month-long investigation into illegal narcotics distribution in Ocean County.

This included the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force and several local police departments. The investigation identified a residence on Bear Hollow Court in Little Egg Harbor Township as the site where John Pecoreno, 40, and Elysia Sullins, 23, stored and distributed cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin.

On Friday, detectives maintained surveillance on Pecoreno and Sullins, who were seen leaving and then returning to the residence.

The Ocean County Regional SWAT Team executed a court-authorized search warrant, leading to the seizure of approximately 1,050 wax folds of heroin, 10 grams of cocaine, 36 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia indicative of narcotics distribution.

Pecoreno was arrested without incident and charged with multiple offenses, including distribution and possession of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Ocean County Jail pending
