Pittsburgh, PA- Pittsburgh Police Zone 1 detectives observed a carjacking incident near Middle Street and E. Ohio just after 5:23 p.m. on Sunday.

Following the carjacking, the male suspect initiated a chase north on I-279. He then returned into Oakland and continued through the Strip District. Officers terminated the pursuit due to pedestrian density and significant vehicle traffic complexity in the area.
