Lexington Park Shooting Sends One to Hospital, Home Struck by Bullets

ST. MARY’S COUNTY, MD — Authorities are investigating a Sunday night shooting in Lexington Park that left a man injured and a home struck by multiple bullets.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 22000 block of Valley Estates Drive shortly after 10:30 p.m. Deputies found a man who had been shot and immediately provided assistance until medics arrived.

The victim was transported to a regional hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

During the investigation, deputies discovered that multiple bullets had hit a nearby home. No additional injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
