60-Year-Old Man Survives Overnight Shooting in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — A 60-year-old man was shot late Monday night on the highway near Point Breeze Avenue, authorities said. The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m., and the victim was struck once in the groin.

Emergency responders from Medic 35 transported the man to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He is currently listed in stable but critical condition, according to officials.

Law enforcement has not yet located the scene of the shooting. No arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
