Police Seek Suspect in Machete-Wielding Suspect in Teller Avenue Robbery

BRONX, N.Y. – Authorities are searching for an individual involved in an early morning theft and menacing incident that occurred on Friday, September 20.

At approximately 5:20 a.m., an unidentified male entered 920 Teller Avenue and began removing property.

When a 33-year-old employee attempted to intervene, the suspect brandished a machete before fleeing the scene on foot, heading eastbound on 162nd Street.

No injuries were reported in the incident. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. Police are continuing to investigate and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
