Baltimore police investigate walk-in shooting victim at local hospital

BALTIMORE — A 40-year-old man is recovering from a gunshot wound after walking into a local hospital on Sunday evening, according to police. Officers responded to the hospital at approximately 6:43 p.m. to investigate the incident.

The victim’s condition was not immediately disclosed, and authorities are working to determine where the shooting took place. Detectives are attempting to locate a crime scene linked to the incident.

Northern District Shooting detectives have taken over the investigation, police said.
