28-Year-Old Man Shot To Death in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday evening in the 1300 block of South Capitol Street, Southwest. Officers responded to the area at approximately 6:44 p.m. after reports of gunshots and were flagged down for a man with gunshot wounds.

The victim, identified as 28-year-old Marc Butler Jr., who had no fixed address, was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
