Police investigate fatal shooting in Temple Hills, reward offered

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. — Homicide detectives in Prince George’s County are investigating the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man in Temple Hills on Saturday night. The victim has been identified as Bracston Pitt of Elkridge, police announced.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2900 block of Oxon Park Street at approximately 11:25 p.m. on September 28. Upon arrival, they found Pitt in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are still working to determine a motive and identify any suspects involved in the shooting.

Prince George’s County Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Homicide Unit at 301-516-2512.
