Police seek suspects in commercial burglary at Spring Garden Street apartment building

PHILADELPHIA — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a commercial burglary at the Guild House apartment building on Spring Garden Street. The incident occurred in the early hours of September 6, according to a release from the Philadelphia Police Department.

At approximately 2:42 a.m., two individuals forced open the front door of the apartment building, located at 711 Spring Garden Street, and roamed the premises. According to investigators, the suspects used narcotics in a stairwell but did not steal any property.

The first suspect is described as a Black female wearing a black scarf, black face mask, black t-shirt with the word “Gucci” on the front, and dark jean shorts. The second suspect is described as a Black male with a gray beard, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and an orange t-shirt with the word “Nike” on the front.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Central Detective Division. A still image of the suspects has been released to aid in the investigation.
