Tractor-trailer crash closes I-68 westbound in Allegany County

CUMBERLAND, Md. — A crash involving a tractor-trailer has closed all westbound lanes of Interstate 68 near mile marker 43, according to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred near Beall Street, with all three lanes blocked. Authorities have not provided details on the cause of the crash or whether there are any injuries.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. The investigation and road closure remain ongoing.
