Cumberland police investigating two vehicle thefts on Grand Avenue

CUMBERLAND, Md. — The Cumberland Police Department is investigating the theft of two vehicles reported stolen from Grand Avenue residences early Monday morning.

Authorities said a blue/grey 2014 Buick Lacrosse with Maryland registration 9EJ4229 and a black 2015 Kia Soul with Maryland registration 2DK8889 were taken from the street on September 30. The Kia Soul has since been recovered, police confirmed.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Cumberland Police Department at (301) 777-1600 or dial 911.
