FedEx worker assaulted and robbed while delivering package in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — A FedEx delivery worker was robbed Monday afternoon while delivering a package in the Bronx, police said. The incident occurred at approximately 5:10 p.m. in front of 2395 Palisade Avenue.

According to authorities, the 54-year-old victim was approached by two unidentified individuals who forcibly took a package from him before fleeing the scene in a vehicle traveling northbound on Palisade Avenue. The worker sustained minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.

The first suspect is described as a male with a slim build and dark complexion, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a male with a medium build and dark complexion, last seen wearing a gray and black mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
