NYC Housing employee arrested for drug possession in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — An off-duty New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) employee was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Brooklyn and charged with multiple drug-related offenses. Rueben Corrion, 45, was taken into custody around 4:20 p.m. within the confines of the 75th Precinct, which covers parts of East New York.

According to police, Corrion faces three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Details regarding the nature of the substances or the circumstances leading to the arrest were not immediately disclosed by authorities.

Corrion is employed by NYCHA, the city agency responsible for managing public housing developments. There has been no immediate statement from NYCHA regarding the arrest or Corrion’s employment status.
