NYC Woman Robbed of $2,000 At Queens Subway Station

QUEENS, N.Y. — A 20-year-old woman was robbed of $2,000 during a dispute at the Parsons Boulevard-Archer Avenue “J” line train station on Tuesday morning, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. when the victim and an unidentified individual became involved in an argument. The suspect snatched the cash from the victim’s purse and fled the station on foot.

No injuries were reported in connection with the theft. Police are searching for the suspect, described as a female with a medium build and dark complexion. She was last seen wearing a black shower cap, a white sweater, white pants, white socks, and black slippers.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to identify the suspect.
