NYPD seeks suspect in groping incident on 1 train

MANHATTAN, N.Y. — A 28-year-old woman was groped on a northbound 1 train at the 110th Street station on Sunday afternoon, according to a report made to police.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:55 p.m., when an unidentified individual approached the woman from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect fled the station on foot shortly after the assault.

No injuries were reported following the incident. Police have provided a description of the suspect as a slim-built male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a pink T-shirt, black pants, and sneakers.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the case and are asking for any information that could aid in identifying the suspect.
