Suspect at Large After Violent Attack in Northwest D.C.

Washington, D.C. — Authorities are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect linked to an aggravated assault that occurred in Northwest D.C. last month.

On Sunday, September 1, around 7:00 p.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of Columbia Road, Northwest, following reports of an assault. Upon arrival, officers discovered that an individual physically assaulted the victim before fleeing the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital by D.C. Fire and EMS for medical treatment.

Images of the suspect were captured by a nearby surveillance camera.

Anyone with information that could assist in identifying the suspect is asked to call (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in connection with this incident.
