Two men shot in Bronx, suspects at large

BRONX, N.Y. — Two men were shot early Monday in front of 178 East 174 Street in the Bronx, according to police. The incident occurred around 12:17 a.m. when two unidentified individuals discharged firearms multiple times, striking the victims.

A 28-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and legs, while a 30-year-old man was shot in the legs. Both men were transported to local hospitals in stable condition. Emergency medical services took the younger victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, while the older victim was taken to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center by private means.

Police say the two suspects fled on foot. One traveled southbound on Eastburn Avenue, and the other went southbound on Morris Avenue.

Authorities described the first suspect as a male with a slim build, long braided hair, and a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, and black and red sneakers. The second suspect is described as a male with a slim build and dark complexion.

No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
