The Alexandria resident shared that she prefers crossword-themed scratch-offs and initially believed she had won $1,000. She had discovered seven words on the first puzzle of the scratch-off. However, she realized there was more to the win when she scratched off the puzzle’s multiplier box, revealing a 50X multiplier. This discovery confirmed her $50,000 prize.
The winner remarked on the swift change in her fortune. While at the casino, she had expressed dissatisfaction with her performance to friends and family.
